Brit's Legal Team Not Allowed To Quit, Yet......

Britney Spears just cannot figure out this tricky legal system thing, y'all. She missed her fifth re-scheduled deposition yesterday because she was driving around doing...nothing. Brit tooled around Los Angeles in her white Mercedes playing with her hair. Is it any wonder her possibly soon-to-be ex legal team has deemed her "impossible?"
As PageSix.com reported yesterday, the law firm of Trope & Trope has filed a motion with Commissioner Scott Gordon to withdraw as counsel for the troubled pop singer, but just because they filed the motion doesn't mean they still aren't representing her until the judge hears the matter formally in court on February 4th.
Our well placed legal insider says that scheduled depositions that were listed on the motion filed in court yesterday, will take place as scheduled, lucky for Brit she still has legal ace Anne Kiley on her team — for now. Those depositions include two former disgruntled bodyguards, Lonnie Edwards and Anthony Barretto. Barretto emerged as a witness last year after he worked for Britney for a brief time and said at the time he feared for Jayden James and Sean Preston's safety.
Until Judge Scott Gordon rules on the matter, Trope & Trope are still her attorney's, and there is a chance that Judge Gordon could deny the motion as Brit has been threw a slew of attorney''s and bringing in new counsel will only prolong this drama much longer. This is a nightmare situation for all parties involved.
